I always enjoy seeing people and the amount of effort they put into saving a buck.
This guy was spotted on the way home from Black Mountain North Carolina.
Very nice effort.
I almost feel bad for buying a nice waterproof canvas set up from the thriftstore.
10 bucks well spent. At least that was what I thought. Check out his set up.

Thrift Store Find

The Thrift Store called to me.
Here's what I found.
A 7 inch mobile video monitor / screen.
Cost 7 Bucks!
I'm going to use this in my 1977 VW Bus.
It'll be part of the Mobile command center.
Back-up Camera, GPS output, Movies, whatever..
Very Nice, and not expensive....

CheapGeek Travel Pillow

Over the weekend, the 4th of July weekend we did a little traveling.
We went to Black Mountain North Carolina. We had a good time.
I will post more about that later.
On the way home, we left early. Very early.
Since I'm a night person, I didn't sleep much.
About a 100 miles into the trip, I really needed a nap.
We stopped at a rest area, I kicked the seat back to take a snooze.
I needed a pillow.
So here's my CheapGeek travel pillow.

A roll of Bounty Paper Towels.

Works very well.

Neck and Head support. 

If you remove the Plastic it absorbs.

The quicker neck sweat picker upper....
